Event description

Description

Lorelei Bonet, LCSW, OS-W, discusses the feelings that may originate when patients and families hear the word, “cancer.” Despite a cancer diagnosis, patients have much to hope for—life, health, and recovery—but sometimes patients retreat or friends and loved ones don’t know what to say or how to express their feelings. This lecture explores the ways in which compassion and empathy lead to forgiveness, and how forgiveness helps heal the spirit and heart of those living with cancer and the people who love them.
