Description
New Jersey Haiti Partners and Brookdale Community College Present
The Second Annual Clinton C. Crocker Memorial Lecture: The Haitian Immigrant Journey
Why Attend
A true scholar and advocate for Haiti, Haitians and Haitian Americans, Dr. Bob Maguire is always a hit with guests at our past events. He is passionate about the cause of Haiti.
These days immigration is daily news fodder. What is the impact on Haitian immigrants and refeguees? How have Haitians contributed at large, and to life in New Jersey?
After Maguire's lecture, we will tackle such questions with our panel, which will include an imigration attorney with 27 years of experience, local leaders in the Haitian community, as well as folks impacted by the current climate.
Follwing that, you can network with fellow professionals, students, academics, and other members of the community.
Attendance is free, but pre-registration is recommended to guarantee seating.
