The Growing Edge: Teaching and Preaching the Bible past, present, future

Rev. Dr. Herman Waetjen (SFTS Emeritus Professor) , Rev. Dr. Eric Elnes (2016 winner of the Christian Retailing Christian Living: Spiritual Growth Award Winner for Gifts of the Darkwood), Rev. Dr. Yolanda Norton (Old Testament Professor SFTS).

These three biblical scholars will discuss the convergence of scholarship, contemporary politics, social theory and emerging spirituality in proclaiming the Word in a diverse and post-modern environment, which includes groups that keep religion at a distance—the “nones,” the “dones” and the “suspicious.”
