The Greater Baton Rouge Model Railroaders Live Steam Demonstraion

In conjunction with the holiday exhibition, Getting There, a nostalgic show exploring the art of travel, LSU Museum of Art and The Greater Baton Rouge Model Railroaders will present a live steam train demonstration, Saturday, December 7, 10 a.m. – noon on the Third Floor. The models operate on steam just as the engines did during the great age of railroading over a century ago. Following the demonstration attendees will participate in a hands-on holiday art project and decorate train-shaped sugar cookies.Don't miss your chance to see the awesome train display in the museum. Admission: Children $5 and Adults $10. LSU Museum of Art Store is located on the Fifth Floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts at 100 Lafayette Street.
