About this event

This self-guided walking tour highlights the richness of architecture in the Gold Coast area of Alameda and the adjacent lagoon. The tour features residences from the 1880s Victorian era through the mid-Twentieth Century, and well as the lagoon and the beautiful wildlife serving as a nature preserve. The tour is part of the education mission of the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society and serves as the annual fundraiser for the organization.

The tour narration is performed by local Alameda architecture expert Denise Brady. Even if you did not physically walk the tour, you would gain a lot of information about Alameda architecture through the narration and pictures of each narrated stop on the smartphone/tablet app. People from all over the world are welcome to use this app without actually walking it for an architectural history lesson of the area. If you live close by or are visiting the area, please enjoy walking the tour on a lovely fall day.

Online tickets available on 9/1 to 9/25.

Add-on merchandise available on 9/1 to 9/25: Glossy preprinted guidebook, coffee mugs, glasses, and caps.
