The Game is a puzzlehunt where teams race each other around town solving clues and trying to outsmart the competition. All Game materials will be published in the AJC’s Living Intown Magazine on May 1, 2016. By interacting with architecture, monuments, parks, historic sites, public art, businesses and services organizations, where you must gather hidden clues, you will experience your city like never before, while creating a unique public art spectacle for thousands of passersby.
How many people to a team? 3 to 5
Do I have to sign up to play? No, but if you don’t, you will miss important info and clues only available to teams who do!
When does it start? 2pm
Where does it start? Historic Fourth Ward - Old Water Tower Park - Auburn Ave
How does it end? The first team to solve all the regular clues wins 1st Prize. The Genius clue will be unveiled at 4pm at Noni's Bar on Edgewood. The first team to solve the Genius clue wins the Genius prize.
What’s the prize? $500 plus bragging rights for a whole year!
Do I have to pay to play? No! The Game is FREE!
Do I need to get a copy of Living Intown magazine to play? Yes! Everything you need to play The Game will be published in the AJC’s Living Intown magazine on May 1. This includes the rules, map, score sheet, and pieces of some clues.
Where do I get my Living Intown magazine? If you are an AJC subscriber, Living Intown will be delivered inside your AJC on May 1! Not a subscriber? You can pick up a free copy at 7 Stages Theatre, Alon's Dunwoody, Atlanta Ballet, Binders PCM and Buckhead, By Design Furniture, Decatur Visitor Center, Felini's Pizza Ponce and Howell Mill, Highland Bakery O4W and GA Tech, Mello Mushroom, and V's Barbershop.
