About this project

The Aged Care Workforce Industry Council is currently working with BDO in Australia to design the future structure of the aged care workforce, an outcome of Strategic Action 4 from ‘A Matter of Care’.

The intention of this project is to design a workforce structure which holistically address the physical, social, and emotional needs of older people. The project examines the potential job pathways and career options to lay out a plan for meaningful jobs with a long-term future allowing workers and volunteers to continue to grow and develop their skills within the sector.

The Council and BDO have undertaken a significant body of work over the past six months for this project, and are pleased to present the findings and results to date. For more information about the project please visit the ACWIC website.

BDO in Australia are collecting registration information on behalf of the Aged Care Workforce Industry Council. By registering you agree to have your details sent to the Aged Care Workforce Industry Council.
