Light refreshments will be served.

Join a conversation with Brynne Kennedy, Founder and CEO of Topia to learn how she saw a market opportunity based on her own experience, took action, and has grown a platform across 200 countries in five years. Bruno Haid, CEO of Roam will provide insight into the industry during an introduction to the event.

Working from anywhere used to be the stuff of science fiction. Middle career employees would dream of taking calls from the beach or mountain retreats. Today, a mobile workforce is more than within reach. Tech companies like Github, Google and Airbnb are moving quickly into the future and providing their employees new opportunities to work remotely.

Brynne Kennedy is at the forefront of this movement as the CEO of Topia (formerly MOVE Guides) where she has doubled their global employees to take on the $11 billion-dollar mobility industry. Brynne created a solution to the challenges of working wherever, whenever after spending the first six years of her career ping ponging between London, Hong Kong, Singapore and India. Grounded in the belief that more open borders and easier mobility solves global problems and drives economic growth, Brynne created a platform that moves and manages the mobile workforce across the world.

In this once in a lifetime fireside chat we'll get to learn more about:

  • How to start, scale and earn revenue within a multi billion dollar industry
  • The best strategies for raising funds for a mobility startup in the Bay Area
  • Rebranding a large companies and creating a new narrative
  • Storytelling as a employee part of the global workforce
  • How to create personal satisfaction in your job while you work around the world

Join Columbia alumni, in partnership with Roam, Columbia Business School Bay Area Alumni Club, Harvard Club of San Francisco, Oxford University Society, Northern California and Cornell NorCal for an exciting event!
