Event description
Description
How are developments in mobile technology and high-speed broadband affecting education?
Hear from Kansas City-based startups and schools making real differences in the lives of local children, parents and teachers as we talk about what the future of ed tech and progressive digital curricula looks like in our fiber-connected city. Each featured project received a grant from the Mozilla Gigabit Community Fund to pioneer next generation education technologies. Then tune in for a keynote address from Erin Mote, co-founder of new progressive school Brooklyn Lab, and former advisor to the Clinton Foundation, Wal-Mart, Chevon and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. We'll wrap up with a special series of Moonshots featuring big thinkers working in our community doing extraordinary things to advance innovation in and out of the classroom.
