If you look at measures like GDP growth and lifespan, life is better for more people around the world than ever before. Yet inequality is rising, natural resources are running low, and many people are questioning the capitalist systems that led us here.
What’s at stake if we continue with the status quo? Should we be seeking to make small adjustments or is a total system overhaul the way forward? What is the future role of businesses in a system that needs to be about more than maximising financial profits?
Join us October 29 to hear from business leaders, policy experts, and researchers. The full guest speaker line-up will be announced soon.
It’s the latest #FutureOf talk series presented by Business for Peace and MESH. The event is free to attend (you’ll just have to pay for anything you purchase from the bar), but please RSVP to let us know you’ll be joining us.
**Update: This event is fully booked. If you don't have a ticket, you can show up to the venue at 17:30 on the day of the event and we will let you in at 18:00 if space allows.

Business for Peace is an international foundation based in Oslo that aims to support, inspire, and recognise global business leaders who are positively changing the face of business.
At the centre of the Foundation’s activities is the annual Oslo Business for Peace Award, conferred to exceptional individuals who exemplify the Foundation’s concept of being businessworthy: ethically and responsibly creating value both for both business and society.
The Foundation also hosts an annual Summit bringing together business leaders, investors, leaders of NGOs, politicians, academics, and civil society from all over the world to discuss the practical actions needed in order to make substantial and sustainable business contributions to society.
