The Future of Business Leadership
Event Information
Description
It’s time for conventional thinking about business leadership to change. Globalisation, climate change, and consumer demands for transparency have changed the landscape for businesses, with leaders needing to consider not only profits but also people and the planet.
To ensure a sustainable and inclusive future, we need ethical leadership from all facets of society to work together. How are today’s purpose-driven leaders approaching this landscape? And what will bold business leadership look like in the future?
Join us Wednesday 20 March to hear from:
- Tore Lӕrdal, Managing Director of Lӕrdal Global Health
- Tharald Nustad, Founder of Nordic Impact and impact investing ecosystems Katapult Accelerator and Katapult Future Fest
- Susan Hagerty Bonsak, Business Executive Officer at Nespresso Norway
- Stine Lise Hattestad Bratsberg (moderator), CEO of Pure Consulting and a former Olympic gold medalist in freestyle skiing
It’s the third event in the new #FutureOf talk series presented by Business for Peace and MESH. Come hear brief talks from each of our guest speakers then stay for a discussion and Q&A. We’ll also be announcing the winners of the 2019 Oslo Business for Peace Award.
The event is free to attend (you’ll just have to pay for anything you purchase from the bar) but please RSVP to let us know you’ll be joining us. If you don't have an Eventbrite ticket, you can show up just before 18:00 and we'll let you in if space permits.

Organizer Business for Peace
Organizer of The Future of Business Leadership
Business for Peace is an international foundation based in Oslo that aims to support, inspire, and recognise global business leaders who are positively changing the face of business.
At the centre of the Foundation’s activities is the annual Oslo Business for Peace Award, conferred to exceptional individuals who exemplify the Foundation’s concept of being businessworthy: ethically and responsibly creating value both for both business and society.
The Foundation also hosts an annual Summit bringing together business leaders, investors, leaders of NGOs, politicians, academics, and civil society from all over the world to discuss the practical actions needed in order to make substantial and sustainable business contributions to society.
