About this event

Join us as we welcome Reverend Al Sharpton, a renowned civil rights leader and social justice advocate. With decades of experience in the movement for equality and justice, Reverend Sharpton's words will be sure to inspire and empower those who have dedicated their lives to fighting for a better future.

The event will bring together active, aspiring activists, as well as those who have previously campaigned on race equity, social justice, and community development issues.

Don't miss this opportunity to hear from one of the most influential voices in the civil rights movement and gain valuable insights from his experiences as an activist.

The discussions will focus on several key themes, including:

  • How do we promote the importance of ethical leadership and ensure greater resilience to avoid exhaustion and burnout?
  • What lessons have been learnt from the history of Black justice campaigns and activism in the US and UK?
  • How can we collectively work smarter and improve cooperation around Black-focused campaigns in the UK and internationally?
  • An intergenerational approach? How do we promote the importance of ethical leadership and ensure greater resilience to avoid exhaustion and burnout?

Who is it for?
