The Future of Bio-inspired Robotics
Event Information
Description
An Adventure with TEDxMileHigh speaker Christoph Keplinger exploring how bio-inspired artificial muscles can revolutionize the field of robotics by enabling a new generation of soft robots.
Join TEDxMileHigh and the Keplinger Research Group at the University of Colorado Boulder to experience their work developing soft artificial muscles – called HASELs – that promise to enable a new generation of multifunctional and life-like robots. You will have the chance to interact with HASELs in operation, and see their construction firsthand. You will even get a sneak preview of several emerging types of HASELs that promise to open up vast new applications in the field of robotics.
