About this Event

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Second International Forum of The Future of Banking. This One Day event is organized by The FINANCIAL on April 23, in Tbilisi, at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel.

The Future of Banking is an annual event looking at the solutions to develop banking services, payment solutions, strengthen cyber security and customer experience. It is a valuable platform for exchanging ideas and discussing finance and innovation issues.

The banking industry faces growing pressures from tightening regulations and customer expectations. With the advent of disruptions through the growing prominence of Fintech firms it has never been more important for banks to hit the right balance between digital innovation and security.

The forum is supported by The national Bank of Georgia and Association of the Banks of Georgia.

Evolving digital technologies, shifting consumer preferences and increasing competition are creating new challenges for banks. As the industry is being transformed, there is uncertainty around what the future of the banking industry will look like over the next decade.

Latest surveys show many of leading bank executives view non- traditional players as a threat to traditional banks. They say every bank will be a direct bank in the future and governments will influence through regulation rather than ownership. The smart device will grow in importance, and take its place alongside cards as the primary medium for consumer payment. And Biometrics will become commonplace in transaction authorization.

Forum participanits to reimagine the Future of Banking.

The forum features:

- An invitation only for leaders in financial services

- All participants can engage in discussions

- Simultaneous interpretation (Eng/Geo)

- Event is aired online
