Ali Bonar is a nutrition-fiend, recipe developer and above all: foodie. After struggling for over 10 years with restrictive and binge eating, Ali was inspired to start Kween Foods, a wellness company with the aim of empowering women to reimagine their relationship with food. She studied nutrition at UC Berkeley and can be found at @avokween or @kweenandco.

Molly Moon Neitzel is the owner of Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream, which she started in 2008 with the desire to create a vibrant, welcoming community gathering place for all Seattleites to share and enjoy delicious ice cream. Molly built her business to embody her political values, and has advocated for progressive business practices and worker rights on the local, state and national level. On top of sourcing ingredients locally and making her shops as sustainable as possible, she has dedicated herself to building a company that is a leader in labor practices. Molly Moon’s pays 100% of medical premiums for employees and their children, has a family leave plan that pays 100% of compensation for up to 12 weeks of bonding time for any new mother or father, subsidized transit passes, and matched retirement for ice cream, scoopers, makers and HQ staff alike.

After a five year stint living in the Bavarian Alps, Rachel Marshall returned home to Seattle and realized it was impossible to find the kind of ginger beer she’d fallen in love with abroad—bold, acidic, fresh, and not cloyingly sweet. She founded Rachel’s Ginger Beer in 2011 with partner Adam Peters. Working in borrowed kitchen space, Rachel created a beverage meant to play nicely with your favorite spirit but serve you just as well the morning after. The company’s workspace has grown exponentially and Rachel has since parlayed her experience into her true passion: creating beautiful spaces for friends to gather over a cocktail, a ginger beer float, or just a glass of one of RGB’s seasonal flavors. Marshall also co-owns two bars in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, Nacho Borracho and Montana. Since its humble, self-funded inception as a stand in Seattle farmers markets, RGB has grown to four stores in Seattle and Portland, hundreds of wholesale accounts, as well as nationwide shipping, all with a fan base to match.
