Presentation of Pennsylvania's highest preservation honors with a keynote address on the future of historic preservation.

About this event

Preservation Pennsylvania will kick off our 40th year of helping people preserve and protect the places they love with “The Future at 40” on Wednesday, January 26 from 4-5:30pm via Zoom. The event will include the presentation of the commonwealth’s two most prestigious historic preservation awards.

The event’s keynote speaker is Bonnie McDonald, President and CEO of Landmarks Illinois and leader of the Relevancy Project, which aspires to create a national model for justice, equity, inclusion and diversity in preservation practice.

Jeffrey Marshall of Bucks County will receive the F. Otto Haas Award honoring outstanding individual achievements in the field of historic preservation over an extended period.

Sydelle Zove of Montgomery County will receive the Henry A. Jordan Award honoring outstanding historic preservation efforts at the local/regional level.

Registration is required to attend this free virtual event. We encourage you to donate to our 40th Anniversary Fund during registration to support preservation-friendly advocacy and preservation work in communities across the state.
