The Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority's Network of Care Training
Event Information
About this Event
The Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority’s (FDHA) Community Health Awareness and Prevention (CHAP) team extends an open invitation to members of the Fulton and DeKalb communities and Public Health Programs to attend our upcoming Network of Care (NOC)Training. The FDHA NOC Training is a 45 - 60 minute presentation.
The NOC for Public Health is a ground-breaking tool that surveys all population health statistics. It represents a powerful new era in public health knowledge and planning. The NOC Presents a comprehensive and continuously maintained dashboard of local health indicators that are connected to model practices throughout the country.
Usefulness of the Tool
- A key piece of the NOC is the integration of insurance data with health needs of very specific geographic areas.
- This gives interested parties the ability to determine which areas (down to ZIP Code level for some) are in need of what services.
- The data can be used to fine-tune health interventions that can help positively impact health outcomes.
- Track bills from the current state and federal legislative sessions and receive updates
- The presentation will be a virtual Zoom online presentation due to the Coronavirus.
- This is a FREE educational program.
Make plans to attend this interactive training session! We encourage an open exchange of information in a casual, social environment. The FDHA’s CHAP team strives to boost the health literacy needed for the uptake of healthy behaviors and healthy lifestyle changes.
