The Fuel for Funding workshop webinar series is designed for individuals and organizations new to grant writing. This workshop is not your average grant writing workshop. Although there is a focus on grant writing techniques and guidelines, this workshop also puts a significant amount of focus on program design. Understanding program design will provide you with the tools to properly convey your plan to a granting agency; significantly improving your chance of being funded.
On each scheduled date and time of the webinar series you will log in using the meeting information which will be provided to you upon registration. No further registration will be necessary. You will just need to log on for the webinar each scheduled date, at the scheduled time. Webinar dates are scheduled:
April 2, 2017 (1.5hrs)
April 9, 2017 (1 hr)
April 15, 2017 (1.5 hrs)
April 23, 2017 (1 hr)
All webinars will begin at 3:00pm EST. PLEASE NOTE: Each scheduled date is a Sunday with the exception of Saturday the 15th (due to the Easter holiday).

This basic, yet interactive workshop will discuss:
grant readiness (actions and items you need under your belt)
types of funding
the basics of program design
managing information and data
grant do's and don'ts
and participants will be provided:
hands on practice related to grant writing and program design; other basic grant related information and exercises to reinforce the concepts learned. This will include writing activities and the examination of a recently funded grant proposal.
Handouts and activities to do as "homework" which will be evaluated and feedback will be given to each participant prior to the end of the series.
After the workshop attendees will have a better understanding of the grant writing process and can begin taking the necessary steps to design their program and getting funded.
