Understanding program design will provide you with the tools to properly convey your plan to a granting agency; significantly inproving your chance of being funded.
Check in will start at 12:30. No registrations will be allowed at the door until AFTER the minimum registrations have been met (please look for announcements on and Facebook).
This basic, yet interactive workshop will discuss:
grant readiness (actions and items you need under your belt)
types of funding
the basics of program design
managing information and data
grant do's and don'ts
and participants will be provided:
hands on practice related to grant writing and program design; other basic grant related information and exercises to reinforce the concepts learned. This will include writing activities and the examination of a recently funded grant proposal.
After the workshop attendees will have a better understanding of the grant writing process and can begin taking the necessary steps to design their program and getting funded.
