Event description

Description

Public Allies is an AmeriCorps program that is national movement committed to advancing social justice, and as members, we are placed with non-profit organizations for ten months and work to address the critical needs of the communities we serve.

In the spirit of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and National Day of Service and the countless individuals that have and continues to work for a better society today and for generations to come, we developed The Freedom Forum: Creating Safe School Environments Free of Prejudice and Intimidation (A Community Training About Self-Identification and Against Bullying).

The Freedom Forum training day will be an empowering and uplifting day where youth, parents, caretakers and educators can participate in workshops and discussions around these important themes. You'll be able to meet new people, learn about bullying and how to prevent it, become an active leader, win prizes, and become closer to understanding self-identity!

Please note - This is our youth registration page. Educators, parents, and caregivers can visit this link and register here to receive their tickets.
