Event description

Description

On the rooftop deck of L'Viceroy Ermitage, above the city lights of Los Angeles, we will celebrate and honor those who are committed to the fight for freedom.

Fifty years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated but his words still ring true today. His was a voice for freedom, especially for civil rights and human rights.

Continuing the legacy of her uncle, Dr. Alveda King will share a powerful message pertinent for this time in history.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Justice Speaks and Million Kids, two non-profits that are committed to eradicating human trafficking and modern slavery. Their efforts have made significant impacts in rescuing and restoring those who have suffered unimaginable circumstances and trauma.

Funds raised also will help to underwrite the production of a documentary series, Freedom Cry, to shine a light on the darkness of human trafficking in America. By sharing the stories of survivors, advocates and front-line abolitionists, we hope this film inspires real change.

Thank you for partnering with us as we continue the modern-day fight for freedom!
