Event description

Description

People garden for various reasons. Some for beauty, others for health, nutrition, wildlife, etc. You can create a sense of place to your outdoor areas with a little intentional planting. One way to do that is adding fragrant plants! The City of Alpharetta and the Alpharetta Natural Resources Commission, are pleased to host a free class taught by the North Fulton Master Gardeners on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the Alpharetta Public Works Department, which is located at 1790 Hembree Road in Alpharetta.

Learn the secrets of creating enchanting fragrance in your garden. This new class identifies fragrant plants for each season to add a new dimension to your garden. Learn about container plants as well as annuals, perennials, shrubs, vines and roses. Fragrances attract pollinators, too.
