Join the PSP Association and CurePSP for The First PSP & CBD International Research Symposium.
There will be a welcome reception the evening of Thursday, October 25, 2018 followed by a full day of scientific and clinical presentations and poster sessions on Friday, October 26, 2018. Clinical investigators from academia and pharma will present their latest research results in the field of PSP, CBD, and related diseases. Sessions include updates from the PSP Genetics Consortium, the brain banks in North America and Europe, and the latest clinical trials; patient registries and natural history studies, PSP Research Roundtable®, and biomarkers as well as key note lectures on the newest results in tauopathies.
Accomodation
A sleeping room block is available at the Melia White House across the street from the RCP at the rate of £180,00 per night (including VAT and breakfast) from October 24-28, 2018. Posters
Poster submission deadline is Monday, October 1, 2018. Abstracts (300 words) in a Word document along with title and affiliation must be sent to Alex Klein at klein@curepsp.org. All are welcome to submit however students/post docs are eligible for free registration with submission. Poster boards are 1 meter x 2 meters portrait style.
Travel Grants for Poster Presenters:
There are 8 travel grants available to attendees of European countries and 3 travel grants available to attendees of non-European countries! The deadline for travel grant applications will be Wednesday, October 10th, 2018.
Applications must include a short statement of motivation and the abstract which was submitted prior. To be eligible for travel grant approval, applicants must be early-career researchers, registered attendees of the PSP & CBD International Research Symposium, and present a poster. Applications will be reviewed by the PSPA and CurePSP. We encourage underrepresented minorities to apply. There are eight grants available to attendees of European countries for up to 500 GBP each and three grants available to attendees of non-European countries for up to 1000 GBP each. All submissions should be sent to Dr. Alex Klein at klein@curepsp.org.

What's the refund policy?
Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before the event start date.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It is preferred but not required.
Will this event be filmed or will there be handouts?
Because some of this data is unpublished we will not be able to distribute information after the conference.
What are my transportation options?
Parking is £25 per car and you will need to let us know the your name and the car registration. Spaces are subject to availability. Street parking is also available. For mass transit options please see this link.
Can I update my registration information?
You can do that through the Eventbrite site or we can do it by emailing your request to events@curepsp.org.
