If you are a supporter, teacher, staff or you attended YEP (Youth Enrichment Program) at anytime between 1989 and 1996 or Sallie B. Howard School between 1997 and 2022, then YOU ARE INVITED to the first-ever YEP & SBHS REUNION!
Get ready for a weekend of celebrations, reconnecting with old friends, sharing funny memories, and catching up on all the wonderful things that SBHS is doing. There will be plenty of food, music and great vibes.

"Welcome Back Mixer"
6:00pm - 9:00pm - Pup's Steakhouse (Brentwood - 2801 Ward Blvd)
An informal kickoff to the weekend where we'll re-connect and exchange memories in a chill setting. Attire: casual.
SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 2023
"School Tour & Lunch Buffet"
11:00am - 1:00pm - SBHS Campus (1004 Herring Ave E, Wilson NC 27893)
Visit the SBHS campus to experience the ultimate tour! The event will begin in the auditorium with an official welcome. Then SBH staff will lead you around the school facilities. The tour ends with a lunch buffet in the new middle/high school lobby. Attire: casual.
"Reunion Soiree"
8:00pm - 12:00am - Frank L. Eagles Community Business Center at Wilson Community College
It's time to party! Dress to impress for an evening of dancing and good times with your fellow alums. Attire: semi-formal.

Our last chance to bond and reminisce before we say goodbye. You'll also find out how you can continue to support the vision of Mrs. Howard. Attire: Sunday brunch.

Sallie B. Howard School of Arts & Science is a free, public charter school founded in 1997 in Wilson, N.C. that serves over 1000 students in grades K-11. Named after the legendary author, educator, playwright and actress Sallie Baldwin Howard, SBHS is dedicated to ensuring that every child – privileged or underprivileged – gets the kind of education that will allow them to become more than they ever thought they would be. With a performing arts-based curriculum, a study abroad program that has brought hundreds of children to nearly all 7 continents, a culturally diverse faculty and student body, and the addition of a high school, Sallie B. Howard School is preparing its students to become 21st century industry leaders both locally and globally.
