Description

The First Black Republic: A conversation with author Frantz Derenoncourt Jr.

"Engagement is the only way to make a difference in Haiti."

EVERYONE IS INVITED. BRING A FRIEND. RSVP TODAY.

Join us for this social networking event organized by Voice of Bethel, Inc., a nonprofit organization, as part of its campaign GIVE A | HAND UP. Our invited guest, author Frantz Derenoncourt Jr., will discuss his illustrated books on Haitian history, in which he explores the revolt, its actors, the toll and the impact it has had on the country.

There will be music, refreshments, and a book signing will follow Mr. Derenoncourt's presentation. Finally, we will be raffling off a number of prizes throughout the event. All proceeds from the raffles will benefit Haiti directly. Visit www.voiceofbethelht.org for more information.
