Event description

The 2018 Seattle Ice Ball is a charity gala benefiting two amazing Seattle non-profits: Facing Homelessness and Crooked Trails.

GENERAL ADMISSION: $60 -- includes a variety of heavy appetizers by Duo Catering, a Sweets Bar (mini cupcakes and other desserts), DJ & dancing, The Casino (faux gambling), tarot card readers, fun & frivolity -- all for a great cause!

OPEN BAR TICKET (Premium Brands): $95 -- all of your drinks are included in the Premium Brand Open Bar ticket featuring Grey Goose, Hendrix and more. (Please consume alcohol sensibly and know your limits. Take a cab/Uber/Lyft home.)

******THE PARTY ATMOSPHERE: The Sanctuary is a gorgeous venue; a renovated church, featuring a balcony, main floor and downstairs area. The outside terrace is pretty, but may be a bit chilly in December, so bring a wrap.

*MAIN PARTY ROOM: DJ spinning Old Skool, Funk, Disco, 70s & 80s, today's dance tunes; as well as The Mach One Trio (playing jazz for the first hour of party), dance floor, bar, appetizer buffet.

*BALCONY: An intimate balcony overlooks the main ballroom below, giving guests a birds eye view.

*DOWNSTAIRS: Speakeasy Lounge featuring The Justin Young Trio, casino tables, loungey seating area, bar. Tarot Card readers in a separate room, to have your fortune read.

*FAUX GAMBLING: Luck be a lady tonight. There will be roulette, black jack and craps tables for you to try your hand at. This is faux gambling, but the Top 3 winners with the most Monopoly money at the end of the night get a prize!

*TAROT CARD READING: There will be two tarot card readers available for you to have a reading with; they charge a nominal fee (~$20 for a mini reading). These ladies are the real deal, and are 3 generations of Intuitives.

*SILENT AUCTION: Bid on a dozen or so fabulous items at the silent auction (event tickets, services and more).

*FUND THE NEED: Attendees will receive a donor # when they check in, and will be able to make individual donations to Fund The Needs of our two nonprofits: building one Block Project Home to house a formerly homeless woman and her child (Facing Homelessness) or to help pay for the education/nursing degree of a young girl in Nepal (Crooked Trails).

*****ATTIRE: Formal or cocktail (LADIES: long gown, cocktail dress; MEN: dress pants & dress shirt, suit or tuxedo). This is a holiday party, a reason to get dressed up!
