The 2016 Fight for Liberty Combat Challenge!!
A competitive obstacle course that puts the participant into the sweat drenched mindset of those that have served our country. True strength and condition concepts organized to mimic the tactical requirements and duties performed by today's military and civil service men and women. For those who like mud runs and competitive challenges! This is a timed event and people will be ranked by time and awarded medals to first, second and third places in each category for both men and women's classes.

35 yrs + men and women's class
100% of the proceeds go to the Veterans Liberty Center of Iowa City.

Sled Pull with Harness- 20 yards (Men 135 lbs Women 90 lbs plus sled)

Push Up/ Sit up station (Reps for both Men 50 Women 30)

Reverse sled drag/rescue drag- 20 yards (men 135lbs women 90lbs plus sled)

Sandbag Cargo Carry- 20 yards down and back (men 50lbs women 30lbs)

Sledge Hammer strikes- 8lb sledge hammer (reps men 30 women 20)

Prowler push (stay low and go)- 20 yards (Men 90 lbs women 50lbs plus prowler)

Rope pull- hand over hand pulling the sled (Men 90lbs women 50lbs plus prowler)

After the rope pull you will sprint to the finish line and be given a chance to perform a stiff arm hang from the pull up bar. This is optional as your time at this station will be subtracted from your overall obstacle course time.
The course will also involve sprinting to the next station which will vary in length but not exceeding 20 yards apart.
(currently integrating a waiver of liability to this event page. Upon check in on the day of the event a paper waiver also must be signed. If under the age of 18 please contact us and a waiver of liability will be supplied to the contestant and their parental guardians for dual signatures.)
