The Baptist Cancer Center and Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center invite you to a free educational seminar featuring two of our nationally recognized oncologists.

About the Speakers

Dr. Raymond Uyiosa Osarogiagbon

Donald Gravenor

Dr. Donald Gravenor attended McGill University in Montréal, Québec, Canada (where he is from) and completed his internship and residency at Jewish General Hospital, also at McGill. Dr. Gravenor completed his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at McGill affiliated hospitals and is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.

Dr. Gravenor joined the Family Cancer Center in 2000 and brings to the group a strong background in medical research. He has served as the principal investigator in more than 300 Phase 2 and 3 clinical trials. He is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Gravenor is the father of four children and enjoys hockey and skiing.

Dr. Raymond Uyiosa Osarogiagbon

Michael N. Neuss

Dr. Neuss was born in Indianapolis and after attending the University of Michigan he received all of his medical education at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. including his MD, internal medicine and medical oncology and hematology training. He is Board Certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.

He came to Vanderbilt in July of 2011 and serves as Chief Medical Officer of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center and is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine.

Nationally, he has served as Chair of the American Society of Clinical Oncology Clinical Practice Committee in addition to being the current Chair of the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Steering Group in addition to numerous other activities. He is a founding leader of the QOPI project under Dr. Joe Simone. He is also on the AMA Innovators’ Committee which is examining care delivery and payment reform models.

He and his wife are the parents of two grown children.
