The Fifth Annual Fashion Law Symposium

"Working Together: Understanding the Different Players in the Fashion Game"
Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law hosts the Fifth Annual Fashion Law Symposium, which will bring together lawyers and non-lawyers, focusing on the key players in the fashion industry. This year’s event will include discussions on how founders and leaders of fashion companies interact with both inside and outside counsel to run some of the most successful businesses in the world.
Sponsored by the Fashion Law Society and the John F. Scarpa Center for Law and Entrepreneurship, this symposium features fashion experts and attorneys in the industry, including Maryann Lawrence, Assistant General Counsel at Chanel; Tiffani McDonough Solomon ‘06, Senior Counsel at Louis Vuitton; Matthew Homyk '11, Associate at Blank Rome LLP; and Steven Crosby, Attorney at Feldman Law PC.
The symposium takes place on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Laurence E. Hirsch '71 Classroom (Room 101) of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law (299 North Spring Mill Road, Villanova). This program is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education board for 3.5 substantive CLE credits.

Program registrants who are unable to afford continuing legal course registration fees due to financial hardship may petition for registration fee waivers or discounted program fees. A petition for a reduced fee shall be filed at the same time the attorney pre-registers for the program, and states why the normal fee associated with the program causes the lawyer a financial hardship. The petition must be signed by the lawyer. The Law School's CLE coordinator may waive or reduce the fee for the CLE program at his/her discretion.
