Event description

Description

The reports of sex trafficking keep coming. And, the topic of sex trafficking is timely right now as the Twin Cities prepares for the Super Bowl, but we know that it is an issue that affects all communities across the State of Minnesota.

In this first of The Family Partnership’s series: Know More, Do More, we’ll hear from Lorena Pinto, Director of The Family Partnership’s PRIDE (Promoting Recovery, Independence, Dignity, and Equality) Program. PRIDE has been helping women and children escape sex trafficking for 40 years.

Lorena will lead listeners in details of efforts to address the issue of sex trafficking right here in Minnesota, and how our efforts are leading the nation.

Listeners will have the chance to hear from two organizations deeply engaged and committed to strategies that give victims the best chance to permanently escape sex-trafficking.
