The FAMILE Hiring Initiative

This workshop will provide an overview of the FAMILE (Faculty Advancement at Maryland for Inclusive and Learning Excellence) faculty hiring initiative. While the session will cover the FAMILE initiative overall, the workshop will emphasize the President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (PPFP) aspect of the initiative. Upon the launch of the FAMILE initiative in April 2021, the University updated the PPFP program to a postdoc-to-tenure track faculty conversion program. This session will focus on the changes to the PPFP program required by the modified approach.
