Description
The Evolution Project is an evening of music and inspiring quotes from peacemakers around the world to celebrate International Day of Peace on Sunday, September 21st.
The two-hour event to be held from 7:30–9:30 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.) at Molly Malone’s in Los Angeles, brings together solo artists and accomplished instrumentalists of different musical styles to perform original music around the theme of world peace.
The performers include Alexander, former lead vocalist of the mesmerizing vocal harmony band, Here II Here, who has performed at the United Nations, on Good Morning America, the NBA playoffs and countless venues across the country; vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Sheela Bringi, whose debut album, Incantations, received widespread critical acclaim; Inca Diva pop artist Sereza, whose fun creative style evokes JLo and Lady Gaga; multi-instrumentalists and music producers Kaz Itoh and Edwin Itoh also of Here II Here fame; and soulful singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist Ben Blanchard.
The band is rounded out by Doug Rogers on bass, Sergio Sánchez on tablas, Bryan Shepard on keyboard, and Monica Downer, Katie Norris, JoAnn Paolantonio and Rhonda Bohannon on vocals.
The event is sponsored by Juice Served Here (www.juiceservedhere.com), a cutting-edge raw, organic cold-pressed juice company. A variety of delicious juices will be available as well as blended juice cocktails.
Tickets can be purchased online for $10 and $15 at the door. Limited seats are available.
