Description
Since its inception ÉCU- The European Independent Film Festival has proved to be a discovery point for many of Europe’s talented independent filmmakers who are driven by a passion to make great cinema, but who don’t benefit from large production budgets.
ÉCU 2011 will showcase 77 films from 26 countries ranging in genre from features, shorts, documentaries, animation and student films to experimental works. The Official Selection will exemplify the very best of Europe’s independent film-making talent as they compete for twenty awards, including the prestigious title of “Europe’s Best Independent Film 2011”.
This year events will be taking place at the Les 7 Parnassiens Cinema and Action Christine 1st, 2nd and 3rd of April.
Les 7 Parnassiens Cinéma is found at: 98, bd du Montparnasse, 75014 Paris.
To reach 7 Parnassiens Cinema, you can take either Metro Vavin (line 4) or Metro Montparnasse-Bienvenüe (lines 4, 6, 12 and 13). To access the cinema via bus, you can take bus lines 91, 92, 94 or 96.
Action Christine is found at: 4, rue Christine, 75006 Paris.
To reach Action Christine, you can take either Metro Saint-Michel (line 4) or Metro Odéon (lines 4 and 10). To access the cinema via bus, you can take bus lines 24, 58, 63, 86, 87, 96.
