Sponsored by the Emory Undergraduate Medical Review and Hybrid Vigor Magazine, the Emotive Arts Series (EAS) encourages those interested in medicine to think about different fields of health from multiple perspectives. This year's event, our innagural series, focuses on "Disability & The Humanities." Speakers and performers will include:

1. Dr. Rosmarie-Garland Thomspson, Director of the Emory Disability Studies Initiative and author of "Extraordinary Bodies: Figuring Physical Disability in American Culture and Literature"

2. Dr. Jennifer Sarrett, Professor at the Center for the Study of Human Health

3. Juliette Keenan, a Musical Therapist for Emory Healthcare

4. Dave Matthews, an Emory School of Medicine MD/PhD who will be speaking about "T-Cells and the Self."

5. Stephanie Miedema, a teacher of trauma-informed yoga

**Dinner will be provided FREE of charge to all participants.** We aim to provide transportation to Miller Ward to ensure accessibility for all individuals. We also will also have an art gala recpetion featuring student presentations AND an opportunity to network with our speakers! Dress code is business casual.
