Get a close-up look into Emergency Reporting (ER) as well as a unique training experience designed for intermediate and advanced users of the Emergency Reporting system. This event is and easy drive from Seattle in beautiful Bellingham, Washington, the home of ER.

This training will be hosted at the Hotel Bellwether and will give you the insight, education and networking connections you need to enhance and develop your agency. Through inspiring keynotes, small group Q&A sessions, educational breakouts, hands-on training, and tons of networking opportunities, along with fun Pacific Northwest events, you will learn how Emergency Reporting is run, who we are and where we are going.

We look forward to meeting you and your favorite guest for this fantastic event. Bellingham is an amazing city with plenty to explore. Suggestions and ideas for fun things to do while you are in training to keep your guest entertained will be provided.

There will also be a few all-inclusive events planned for everyone to enjoy together. One of those will be on Wednesday, Sept. 27th. This event will include drinks, light appetizers, an optional distillery tour, and transportation (there will be an additional fee of $40.00 for your guest).

We will be hosting a three-day event for our Fire and EMS customers from around the globe.Pick the class that best works for you.

FAQs

Q: What should I bring to the event?

  • A laptop or tablet with internet capabilities. Wi-Fi will be available.
  • $40.00 in cash if you plan to bring a guest to the Wednesday event.
  • Your chargers.
  • Patches, coins, shirts from your department for sharing and exchanging.
  • Something to take notes with.
  • Rain gear is suggested.

Q: Who should attend a National Training Academy?

A: This training was built for intermediate and advanced ER users and is customizable to individualize the experience This could include, but isn’t limited to, fire marshals, training officers, chief officers, administrative staff, public information officers and upwardly mobile suppression personnel.

Q: Who teaches at the National Training Academy?

A: Emergency Reporting Trainers are active or recently retired firefighters with over 100 years of combined firefighting experience. Before they were ER trainers, they were ER customers. Our trainers fully understand your needs, because, like you, they have spent years answering the call for help. Now they are ready to help you get the most out of your ER system.

Q: What meals will be provided with the National Training Academy?

A: We will provide a breakfast and lunch for each day of class, as well as coffee, snacks, and refreshments each day throughout the conference. Wi-Fi will also be provided.

Q: What is the Wednesday excursion?

A: This event will be a group activity on Wed. Sept. 27, from about 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Transportation will be provided to and from the Bellwether Hotel Conference Center to Bellewood Acres, where we will have drinks, appetizers and an optional distillery tour. This is a beautiful venue where you’ll enjoy the beauty of the great pacific northwest in a relaxed setting.

Q: Is there an extra fee for the excursion to Bellewood Acres?

A: Yes, if you are bringing a guest. A small fee of $40.00 for your guest will be collected on the bus to the event.

Q: Is there any required dress attire?

A: Business casual is highly recommended. Duty uniforms are fine, but certainly not required. We want you to be comfortable during the conference experience.

Q: What's the refund policy?

A: Cancellations prior to September 11, 2017 will receive a full refund minus a $60 administration fee. Cancellations must be in writing (telephone cancellations will not be accepted) to Emergency Reporting via email (events@emergencyreporting.com). Cancellation requests received after September 12, 2017 will not be refunded. However, attendee substitutions will be allowed and may be made in writing to events@emergencyreporting.com. Full registration fee is forfeited for workshop no shows.
