Event description

Description

Why has Mexico's economy, despite having done so many things right, failed to grow fast? Vice President for Sectors and Knowledge at Inter-American Development Bank and Pacific Leadership Fellow Santiago Levy will discuss the flawed microeconomic policies that have suppressed growth and highlight substantive changes to Mexico's tax, labor and social insurance regimes that will allow the country to prosper.

The event will start with a talk at 5 p.m., followed by a reception at 6 p.m. Location: Institute of the Americas, Malamud Conference Room (directions and map).

Closet parking will be at the Pangea Parking Structure. There will be a limited number of complimentary spaces on the top level on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any other spots will require a parking permit to be purchased at the pay stations. There will also be signage to direct attendees from the structure to the event venue.
