Description
Biotechnology began with food.
Thousands of years ago we started to use biology to transform foods into beer, cheese, yogurt and bread. Biology prevented food from spoiling, but also unlocked a vast palette of new flavours and textures.
Today we're using biology to address the problems of industrial agriculture. While creating a sustainable food system, we're uncovering food's potential in a way we haven't seen since Neolithic times.
