Event description

Description

BioPathways is a monthly event series, featuring prominent bioentrepreneurs, biotech executives and biotech venture capitalists in a fireside chat. We will also feature a guest biotech startup in a quick pitch. This month we are featuring Dr. Sarfaraz Niazi, the founder of Karyo Biologics and Adello Biologics, as well as PharmSci, a premier consulting company for Biosimilars.

Professor Sarfaraz K Niazi is a biosimilars pioneer with over 25 years of experience taking biosimilars to market globally. He has authored the largest number of books on biosimilars, helped Obama administration in drafting BPCIA and most recently filed a petition against FDA that resulted in the withdrawal of a pivotal biosimilar guidance; he is now working with the FDA and USP to draft new guidance under the Biosimilars Action Plan. He has published several papers identifying the reasons for the slow adoption of biosimilars in the US. Dr. Niazi is the founder of Karyo Biologics and Adello Biologics, as well as PharmSci, a premier consulting company for Biosimilars.
