On Easter Sunday the streets of the City of Durban will come alive with spring colors and flowery bonnets as part of the annual Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival which begins next year April 5, 2020.

Durban this is your chance to showcase your talent to the world at this free parade called The Durban Annual Easter Promenade Parade 2020 which will be broadcasted live in New York City to connect Durban to the original founders of this spectacular Parade. This event will not only connect the two cities but will also help bridge the gaps and limit the distance. The two cities will feel connected in one day. We will give you a real life experience of both worlds.

Durban is one of the few big cities that has not hosted this spectacular events . Durban is lined with amazing sea, views, smiles and it is the best tourism destinations in South Africa.

The Durban Annual Easter Parade 2020 is coming to Durban.

Durban (Zulu: eThekwini, from itheku meaning "bay/lagoon") is the third most populous city in South Africa—after Johannesburg and Cape Town—and the largest city in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal. Located on the east coast of South Africa, Durban is famous for being the busiest port in the country. It is also seen as one of the major centres of tourism because of the city's warm subtropical climate and extensive beaches. Durban forms part of the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality, which includes neighboring towns and has a population of about 3.44 million.

It's going to be quite the spectacle for tourists to witness. Tourists will be invited and will come from all over the world to see the Durban showcasing its talent , creativity and fashion on Easter Sunday April 5, 2020.

There will be high and low fashion hat , small and big with all kind of decorations, hand made and professionally designed hats from all over the world, hats with feathers, toys , Easter eggs , bunny , live animals in full costume, humans in Civil War period costumes, DURBAN BEADS , Izicholo with an amazing touch of Easter parade , even people in the latest high fashions will be there.

There is a little bit of everything for the parade for the tourists viewer and photographers.


Many kids , schools , young and old , singles and groups also participate by creating unique Easter bonnets and themed costumes. We cannot wait to see what Durban has in store for the world .

Here are some of the Durban attractions that people should consider visiting during the Easter season:


1. uShaka Marine World

Popular Durban water park uShaka Marine World will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt is open to both adults (R138) and children (R186). The hunt will have 100000 marshmallow eggs and 20 golden eggs that contain a platinum pass.

2. Durban Botanical Gardens

The Durban Botanical Gardens will be hosting Eggsplorer Egg Hunt. Eggsplorers will have to solve clues, complete challenges and look for Easter eggs. The fee is R85 for eggsplorers and R60 for spectators.

3. Moses Mabhida Stadium

For Easter Sunday people can head to the Durban stadium to enjoy a fun day in the sun. The annual Durban Picnic Day event will have South African acts like Cassper Nyovet and Black Motion performing. The cost for the event ranges between R200 and R1000.

4. All White Sunday

For those who choose to enjoy after dark Easter activities, the All White Sunday event is right up their alley. The event will have various artists performing is free as long as you don't bring along your own cooler box. The charge per cooler os R100.
