Two brothers living on the indie circuit, driving around sharing their stories through songwriting. That’s life for Sam & Zack DuPont. Based out of Burlington, VT the sibling indie-folk-rock duo has kept busy on the road since 2013. Their two studio releases, Heavy as Lead (2015) & A Riddle For You (2016) & two live albums, Live at Beehive (2016) & Live at Deepwells (2017), have taken them all over the Northeast, Mid Atlantic, South and Midwest. The DuPont Brothers have made festival appearances at Grand Point North & SXSW & have supported a wide array of national acts of all shapes, sizes & genres including Kishi Bashi, Johnnyswim, The Lone Bellow, Gin Wigmore, Langhorne Slim, Joseph, Livingston Taylor, Bahamas, Ben Sollee & Patrick Watson along with grammy award winning artists, Sturgill Simpson, Jerry Douglas, Blake Mills, Suzanne Vega & Pat Benatar.

“ I usually take my time sorting through the submissions of opening acts because I want the audience to enjoy them as much as they enjoy me. I heard three seconds of one of their songs and said, ‘Them! I want them!’ The future is bright for these two.”
- Jerry Douglas

Sarah Howell made her public singing debut in 1991, at age 4, sitting on top of a piano played by her dad and singing "Somewhere over the Rainbow." They reprised that performance at her wedding in 2017. Sarah grew up on the likes of The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan; her current musical obsessions/influences include Jason Isbell, Julien Baker, Dar Williams, and her many musician friends. Sarah sings, plays piano, guitar, and a little percussion, and writes music with strong melodies and carefully crafted lyrics. She performs regularly with the Martha Bassett Band and contributed two original songs to their latest release, Dark of the Night. Sarah has, by good luck and fortuitous timing, opened for the likes of Derek Webb and Delta Rae. Sarah also has experience in worship leadership, choral music performance, public speaking, and writing stuff other than music (you can visit her personal blog here). When not doing those things, she's either at her day job as a pastor, exploring her home of Winston-Salem, NC, or hanging out with her husband, Colin, and their three pit bull mixes, Crash, Gertie, & Hooch.
