Event description
The Duarte Lobo Solemn Requiem Mass on All Souls Day Archbishop Cordileone celebrating. Richard Sparks conducting The Benedict Sixteen

About this Event

Pray for for the souls of your own beloved dead and for all the faithful departed with this gorgeous and solemn Requiem Mass. Donors who give $100 or more (or $5 per month) will be remembered in the Mass program.

Join Archbishop Cordileone at St. Mary's Cathedral. Hear the healing sacred music of Duarte Lobo (1565 – 1646) the most celebrated Portuguese composer of the late Renaissance. Join Richard Sparks, the celebrated choral conductor, as he leads for the first time in San Francisco the famed Benedict Sixteen choir.

Parking is free and so is this very special Mass, thanks to generous donors to the Benedict XVI Institute. We do not receive any Archdiocesan funds so we appreciate those who can make this level of sacred beauty happen.

Please RSVP to help us plan for the event!

The Benedict XVI Institute's mission is opening the door of Beauty to God by providing practical resources for more beautiful and reverent liturgy and by energizing a Catholic culture of the Arts. Learn more at BenedictInstitute.org
