Description

The Dolphin Tank

Springboard Enterprises Dolphin Tank® programs are “helpful feedback-driven” pitch sessions for entrepreneurs to receive constructive insights from knowledgeable professionals. Dolphin Tanks aren’t about sharks, piranhas, dragons, or competing for the best idea – they’re about channeling the expertise of the people in the room.

The Dolphin Tank is an interactive discussion led by an expert panel that focuses on one thing: “How can we help?” The objective is to provide connections and advice to enable entrepreneurs to overcome their challenges and capitalize on their opportunities.

For more information, contact Anna Consani at anna@sb.co.

The Hopkins Biotech Network

The Hopkins Biotech Network (HBN) serves as a platform for graduate and postdoctoral trainees at Johns Hopkins to connect with key players in the life sciences and healthcare industry, with a focus on the Capital region. We provide trainees with an understanding of the vast spectrum of opportunities in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, consulting and entrepreneurship, through hosting monthly career panels and informational interviews with invited speakers. Besides, our mission is to help our members establish a network for personal career development through networking events, professional development workshops and career treks. Because it is not only what you know, but also who you know that makes a difference in your professional life.

Since its foundation in 2003 by students of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, HBN has expanded its presence to all Hopkins-affiliated schools and has established an alumni network across the country, with partners in major biotech hubs like the Bay Area. HBN now has over 2000 subscribers to its bi-weekly newsletter The Transcript, and over 4000 subscribers to HBN social media platforms.
