* ANORAAK *

Anoraak has been around since 2008 and his underground classic Nightdrive With You. 2 albums and countless remixes later (We Have Band, Neon Indian, Mika, College, Metronomy, Jupiter, Pacific!, …), he has made quite a name for himself in the synth-pop, italo and indie-dance genres.

After years and years behind the decks or as the frontman of a power trio, now is the time for him to explore new directions and hit the nightclubs with a brand new live performance. With only an MPC, a synthesizer and some controlers it’s back to basics for the french man!

This schizophrenic live self-remix treatment sheds a new light on his stripped to the bone pop songs which reveal themselves in a completely different and more powerful way. The best new versions are compiled in his new EP, simply called REWORKS.

* TROPICOOL *

Direct descendent from the legendary poseidon, ruler of the 7 seas, and rogue wave alchemist; Tropicool, now prowls beach towns plundering booty while searching for the illest tuneage, previously thought to be locked away, buried deep in ancient chests. His origins are mysterious, although we know he has had a powerful hand in the rebirth of disco here in america. His highly sought after tune selection and euphoria induced events have been nothing short of legendary, always a few steps ahead of the curve and enjoyed by all; even your foreign step-sister. The vibes are always best served with a cocktail umbrella, which are soulful, yet funky numbers, infused with disco and deep sexy tones. Tropicool is a feeling, not a sound. Be prepared for rogue waves & an acid daze, which probably will end up in an interstellar lay.

* ANTON TUMAS *

After cutting his teeth at clubs like Vanguard and Avalon, as well as Burning Man and Moontribe’s desert settings, Anton Tumas developed a taste for the elegant, eclectic, and subtle melodies found in house and techno. Inspired by DJs like Lee Burridge, Dixon and Carl Craig, he learned how to throw a great party and build his reputation. His label Subtract Music has thrown parties with the likes of Henry Saiz, Marc Marzenit and Guy J, and even LA Burning Man Decompression, where in 2013 together with DISTRIKT it curated its own subDISTRIKT stage. The reason for this success is, simply, his music. Unlike many young DJs, Anton refuses to play ubiquitous “in your face” tracks, insisting instead on music that demands more careful listening, music whose truth is in the details.
