 The Divine Climb

Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine

This event is Sold Out

Join OHNY and the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine for a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic church. Climb both the eastern and western ends of the cathedral on a tour designed especially for openhousenewyork. On the eastern side, take Rafael Guastavino’s beautiful spiral staircase to get the closest possible view of the stained glass windows and then descend into the unfinished crypt, revealing the normally inaccessible spaces below the cathedral floor. In the west, experience amazing views down the entire length of the world’s largest cathedral.

Tour requires climbing narrow stairways. Limited capacity. Tour participants must be 12 years or older.

Tickets to this event are non-refundable. Should you not be able to attend, the full price of unused tickets may be treated as a donation to openhousenewyork and is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
