Moderated by Simma Lieberman 'The Inclusionist', we will hear insights not only about the value of diversity, but strategies to pursue diversity with intention.
CEO and Co-Founder, Vyrill Inc
Ajay Bam is an accomplished entrepreneur, educator, and innovator with 13+ years of experience building startups and launching products in e-commerce, digital payments, and mobile marketing. He is the co-founder of Vyrill.com helping digital marketers make sense of their video content on social media/web and leverage video intelligence for product marketing. He is also a lecturer of entrepreneurship at the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley. Previously, Ajay led product management teams at Nokia and co-founded Modiv Media, which was later acquired by Catalina Marketing.
Ajay is an alum of University of Mumbai, East Tennessee State University and Babson College with degrees in computer science and an MBA. He holds many patents in the mobile commerce space and speaks German, French, and Hindi.

Lesa Hammond is the co-founder and CEO of ProfHire, a technology company connecting higher education institutions with vetted scholars and industry professionals for part-time faculty positions. With 20 years experience in the field of human resources, primarily in higher education, she has been the chief human resources officer of three universities. Lesa has consulted with more than 40 companies nationwide on human resources, motivation, and organizational development.
Motivated to give back, Lesa developed an Everyday Role Models program and an inspirational children’s book series, "Thompson Twins". She is also the author of the self-help book "Achieve in 5!: Transform your life in just five minutes a day" and the instruction guide, "Become a Part-time Professor." A veteran of the United States Air Force, Lesa holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from The Ohio State University, a masters in Public Administration in Human Resources from Golden Gate University, and a PhD in Transformative Learning from the California Institute of Integral Studies.

Dan Smith is a seasoned and accomplished entrepreneur with 10 years experience launching products in the professional services, entertainment, finance and insurance industries. He has also had an extensive career in the field of Technology Consulting and Cybersecurity, holding senior leadership roles in major banks & federal government. Currently, Dan is the Co-Founder of Zeguro, a cyber security and insurance platform for small to medium businesses.
Dan's passion for diversity and inclusion has been seen throughout his life, sitting on multiple not-for-profit boards and volunteering in Australia where he is from, helping organizations support LGBTQ rights through organizations like the Gay and Lesbian New Mardi Gras and the NSW AIDS Council. Dan has been actively bringing this experience to the workplace in all his previous roles and now as a leader at Zeguro.

Sidd Gavirneni is the co-founder of Zeguro, a cyber security and insurance platform for small to medium businesses. He has been in the arena of strategy and innovation management for 9+ years. Before being an entrepreneur, he was a portfolio consultant to companies like Symantec, Bloomberg, and Nvidia, and led innovation management and product portfolio at Polycom for 4 years.
Personally, he has had quite a journey through his life living and studying in multiple countries. After an undergrad in India, he moved all the way to Kansas for his Masters, before going to Phoenix. The next step was a move across the Atlantic to Spain for his MBA, and then to New Hampshire and Los Angeles, before putting roots in San Francisco. These have given him a network of friends in about 80 countries. But more importantly, he has an understanding of how diversity impacts teamwork and project outcomes. Now, as a leader, he strives to create a diverse team at Zeguro.

Simma Lieberman, “The Inclusionist,” is a internationally recognized authority on diversity and inclusion culture strategy in organizations. She is the co-founder of the new video project, “Everyday Conversations on Race for Everyday People.” Simma has authored three books on diversity and one on personal resilience.
