Event description

Description

The Office of Vocations for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland is sponsoring a lenten retreat for Catholic men over 18 who are discerning their vocation and desiring to grow in their faith. Priests from the diocese will join Fr. Seamus, the Vocation Director, in presenting reflections on the theme of resilience: living the faith in a fallen world. In addition to talks, Mass and communal prayer, there will be time for confession, personal prayer and reflection, discussion, and social time.

The retreat will be held at the Notre Dame Spiritual Center in Alfred, ME. Participants should bring a Bible, rosary, and journal, comfortable indoor clothing and warm outdoor clothing for walks/recreation, toiletries, and any books or board games.

Please register as soon as possible, or by Friday, March 26th.

Carpooling options are usually available up and down I-95 as far north as Bangor. Please email Fr. Seamus for help with arrangements. Hope you can come!
