Speakers

Tom Wilkas
Tom Wilkas possesses more than 25 years of experience leading finance and operations for global companies in the technology, business services, consumer products and manufacturing sectors.

With a career split between publicly traded companies and private equity-backed firms, Mr. Wilkas has created long-term, sustainable growth models for high growth companies as well as companies in turnaround mode. Through a combination of strategic transactions, fund raising, new product development, global integration, process reengineering, and cultural change, he has engineered several strategic exits for both public and private companies.

Mr. Wilkas is currently the Chief Financial Officer at SAFEbuilt, LLC, the nation’s leading outsourced provider of community building services (e.g. permitting, inspections, planning) and software. He is responsible for M&A, capital raising, strategy, finance, procurement, fleet management, legal, and accounting.

Josh Pace
Joshua Pace assumed the role of CEO at Trust Company of America (TCA) in June, 2015 after serving as the Chief Business Officer at TCA, leading sales and business development efforts, since 2012.

Joshua Pace joined Trust Company of America (TCA) in 2012 with over 20 years of experience in the growth and leadership of a diverse set of financial, service and technology companies. He served as the CFO of Openwave Systems, a public company with $450m in revenues and 3,000 employees based in Redwood City, CA. He was also CFO of Webroot, a Broomfield Colorado based software security company.

Jason Urband
Jason is responsible for evaluating and executing transactions within the firm’s CORE Investment Strategy, as well as providing support to the firm’s Partner Companies. Prior to joining Lariat, Jason was a Vice President at Grey Mountain Partners, a Boulder-based private equity firm with approximately $700 million of capital under management, where he executed leveraged buyouts across a number of industries, and assisted portfolio companies with strategic initiatives. Jason was also responsible for covering investment banks and business brokers in both the western and southwestern United States.

He served on the boards of directors for several portfolio companies, including Dimex and Ajubeo LLC and worked closely with management on each of Herr-Voss Stamco and Robbins, LLC. Prior to Grey Mountain, Jason was an investment banker focused on M&A, most recently with RBC Capital Markets, and began his career at an investment firm funded by Fortress Investment Group. Kathy Healey
Kathy Healey is a partner at RSM US LLP, serving as a strategic audit and assurance advisor to her clients across a multitude of industries. Kathy has been with RSM for over 12 years and previously worked for a Big Four firm and First Data Corporation. Kathy graduated from Brigham Young University with her Master of Science in accounting. Kathy serves on the accounting advisory board at Colorado State University and on the Denver’s CFO Leadership Council steering committee.

CFO Leadership Council members from all our chapters may also attend for free. Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program for $50.
