Event description

Description

In this intimate, 4-day silent retreat we will rest more deeply in and as our natural openness. As we attune more intimately with our essential nature, a vibrant current of wisdom, love, and aliveness spontaneously emerges and radiates out into our ordinary lives, infusing our relationships and work. Through silent (comfortable) sitting and guided meditations, paired meditative inquiry, talks and conversations, and sensitive body movement (Christiane’s ‘Exploration in Stillness’), we will open to our native openness and the current of life.
Together, in the extraordinarily beautiful, secluded Ralston White retreat center nestled in 43 acres of redwoods on the side of Mt. Tamalpais, ten minutes from downtown Mill Valley, we will meditate from, inquire into, and share our deepest truth with kindred spirits. This retreat also includes individual time to rest quietly or walk among the fragrant big trees enlivened by a winter stream that tumbles down the mountainside. The food, by the way, is superb. Except for our first and last meal together, we will observe silence outside of our regular meeting times.

We are offering this retreat at near cost and have a few tuition scholarships (that do not include room and board) available for those in genuine financial need.

For any questions about the retreat, please email John at johnprendergast@comcast.net.
