Event description
A One Day Workshop for Scholars and Practitioners

About this Event

The Pearson Institute Presents:

The Darker Side of Peace Agreements

The Pearson Institute is committed to deploying evidence-based and original research in pursuit of the resolution of global conflicts. One crucial aspect of this process is to learn, from comparative cases, those things that must be avoided if peace processes are to successfully develop.

Around the world – from Israel & Palestine to Colombia, Northern Ireland to Afghanistan, and beyond – negative, darker consequences of peace processes exist. This workshop brings together leading scholars and practitioners to discuss what we can learn from the dynamics of particular peace agreements in order to offer practical and profound insights to sustain and build peace.
