Description

Perfect for busy professionals or individuals who want the benefits of therapy without the long term commitment, The Daring Way is a focused therapeutic workshop, created by Brené Brown, to help you develop shame resilience and a courage practice that transforms the way you relate with yourself and others. In this 3-day/16-hour intensive we will examine the thoughts, emotions and behaviors that hold us back and identify new choices and practices that move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. You will learn to identify your needs and ways to support yourself, identify your aspirational and lived values, Identify trustworthiness in others, explore beliefs around vulnerability, learn the arena metaphor as it applies to vulnerability and daring, learn the elements of empathy and self-compassion, become familiar with what shame is, how it is experienced, and how keeps us inauthentic, learn ways we behave when in shame, learn what triggers our shame, identify the steps of shame resilience, and identify what will support your continued courage and shame resilience practice.
